Spiced Sunrise Porridge

Awaken gently with this comforting bowl of creamy oats, spiced pear and walnuts. A nourishing blend that supports digestion, focus and calm energy.

40g (⅓ cup) oats
½ scoop vanilla protein powder (our favourite is Form Performance)
1 tbsp chia seeds
120ml (½ cup) mylk
1 ripe pear, (½ diced, ½ sliced for topping)
⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
⅛ tsp ground ginger
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp chopped walnuts
1 tsp maple syrup (to taste)
1 tsp nut butter (optional)
1 tbsp hemp seeds (optional, for extra protein)

STEP 1 .
In a small pot, add oats, chia seeds, mylk and a pinch of salt.
Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Cook 3–5 minutes, stirring frequently until it thickens.
Add a splash more mylk if you prefer it looser.STEP 2.
Stir in the diced pear, cinnamon and ginger. Cook for another 2–3 minutes, until the pear softens slightly and the porridge thickens to your liking.
Remove from heat, stir in maple syrup and hemp seeds (if using) and spoon into bowls.
Top with chopped walnuts and pear slices. -
